MY TOP 5 VIBRANT SCREEN PRINTS 2012/2013

Through out 2012, I have been very keen on vibrant and striking screen print t-shirts. My obsession with screen prints lead me to buy a Versace for H&M stampa palm tee which was one of my favorite pieces out of the famous collaboration. This year isn’t any different with new and upcoming designers showing their creativity to create pieces in their SS13 ranges.

At NO.5 is a t-shirt worn by my business partner and friend abe. He purchased the shirt from a store in the manchester city centre called DEEP. The shirt is a mixture of elements of a bandana print and delicate black floral prints. This combination works well together as they merge to create a spiral effect on the sleeves and shoulders. I also appreciate the fact that this is a long sleeve tee shirt which almost exaggerates the print in a way that attracts the eye.

At NO.4 is a tee from Ovidius. From what I know about this brand, it is Uk based. This tee is very effective when it comes to portraying a unique and very much real graphical message. The image looks like an explosion in process which is mirrored on each side of the tee. This is had to make the list as its a must have for me.

AT NO.3 is a tee from pray for paris. Pray for Paris has been renowned for using the Egyptian icon on their tees. This piece is my favorite out of their range.

AT NO.2 is a tee from the versace collab with H&M. The stampa palm tee is one of the most vibrant tees from last year. My favourite aspect of the tee is the palm trees on the sides of the tee which start from under the sleeves and drop down to the bottom of the tee. The tee is also covered in little crocodiles which add to the agricultural feel of the tee

AT NO.1 is a piece from Katy Eary. Katy Eary is a very talented London based designer who’s collections never fail to impress her consumers. Her shirts have been worn by the likes of A$AP Rocky and Theophilus London who are two of the most influential faces in fashion for hip-hop listeners.

BANDANA PRINT SLIPPERS

I’ve only just came across these smart yet casual slippers and I am very much amazed with it. I initially thought this was the work of RHUIGI of RHUDE clothing but these particular slippers are not. The shape is almost loafer like and the print on them gives them an urban look and feel.
This is a must have for me and after just finding out about them, I have ordered my own pair.

The Seoul fashion week was a great success as many brands were showcased in that highly creative week. The even hosted brands such as OC, KYE and many more. I am a very big fan of KYE and their SS13 collection didnt fail to exceed my expectations.  Korea is becoming one of the major fashionable countries along with france, japan and of course England .

I still listen to these old school tracks, real original hip hop will never die. really wish a dope new artist with the 1980’s style of rapping will come out. If there are any new underground rappers with that style, hit me up because i am very much interested in that type of hip hop. 

GIVENCHY X CONVERSE

This is one of my favourite trainers collab. The detail on it is really immense. From the print of the trainer all the way to the smallest detail of the studs at the back. Along with the air yeezy 2 and jordan 1 (black and red edition) this is by far one of my favourite pair of trainers

RCA Records rapper A$AP Rocky was recently photo’d leaving the Late Show With Dave Letterman. He was there to perform his new track Long.Live.A$APand to promote his debut album of the same name. He styled in a Rick Owens DRKSHDW Jacket layered over a $225 Pyrex Religion Hoodie and light grey ripped denim jeans paired with white Nike Air Force 1’s.

A$AP Rocky is very fashionable and just like myself, he loves shopping. Today, is a good day to shop, but I’d much rather stay home, sit in front of my computer and playing Party Casino (http://www.partycasino.com) all day, which is a fun and cool fully licensed online game site.
